Lake of Emosson

You can reach Le Barrage d'Emosson directly from the lodging by taking a path which rise up in the small Barberine valley (2h30 - 3h). There is also an access by the road, via Finhaut (in summertime, bus from Châtelard). Another option would be to take the funicular railway and the small train of the parc d'attraction du Châtelard.

The dinosaur's foot prints at the Vieux-Emosson

From the dam of Emosson, a walk (about 2h30) will bring you to the foot prints via the dam of Vieux-Emosson. You can come back throw the Veudale's gorge.

The Col de Balme

You can access to Col de Balme by differents ways : Châtelard, Trient, Vallorcine, the Col des Montets or from Le Tour. Beautiful place, in front of the Massif of Mont Blanc. This region is favorable to practice mountain bike.

Mysterious gorges

The way to the mysterious gorges goes down along the Trient's river from the place called "Tête Noire" to the river "Eau Noire". This way, relatively short impresses by its proximity with the water. Don't miss it !
